Asbestos compensation claims Sunderland

If you are on this page you will probably know that the illness asbestos dust can cause is deadly. If you or your family or a friend is suffering from Mesothelioma it can be devastating to watch them slowly losing their hold on life gasping at every breath.

The Sunderland echo recently reported that the government is going to block asbestos sufferer’s compensation claims.

Knowing how quickly the illness can take hold and its devastating effects this appears so unjust. In the last stages a sufferer may only have weeks to live and it is at this time they need all the help and compensation they can get. For the government to close its doors is despicable.

Did the government not benefit from the buildings and the income from asbestos did it not help the economy and put most of these politicians positions they hold today in their two houses and pay for their cars and comfortable expense accounts and life styles.

Do they earn their expenses in the same way asbestos workers had to toil? Will they die the same gasping breathes I don’t think so.

But it is these very people who have put a block on paying compensation claims to asbestos workers and their families’ .The very people who were voted into power by us the general public to help us in such matters.

Activists from the construction workers' union Ucatt had hoped ministers would act swiftly to overturn the Law Lords controversial decision to ban compensation claims by Wearside pleural plaques sufferers.

They are at the time of writing this still awaiting any action on their behalf. Nothing has been done to overturn the ban by the law lords.

We as a country used to be looked upon to help other countries but it would appear in the past few years we have in the past done so at the expense of our own countrymen.

If the government can delay compensation payments to Mesothelioma sufferers in time the problem will go away saving the government thousands and thousands of pounds.

Do they think in all conscious that this is a time to look the other way allow these sufferers to suffer without any compensation in the remainder of their live times.

How can they justify this saving not only to their own conscience but to the general public as a whole.
